Autumn Research Seminar: Christian Keathley
Location: FAB 0.21
We will be welcoming Christian Keathley (Middlebury College, Vermont, USA) to the department. A leading figure in the field of the audiovisual essay, Christian will be screening and discussing a long-form videographic piece that is a mixture of a personal documentary about family history and a reflection on film history. The session will consist of a screening of this film and a q&a about its relation to the practices of audiovisual film studies and his work on cinephilia and film history.
The event takes place on Thursday, November 27, 4.30pm – 6pm, in the Faculty of Arts Building Cinema (FAB 0.21), followed by some refreshments in the FTV Academic Studio.
