About
I hold a BA in Media and Cultural Studies from Newcastle University, and two Master’s degrees. One is MSc in Media and Communications from LSE, and the other is MA in Ethnographic and Documentary Film (Practical) from UCL. I graduated with distinction and was awarded Dean's List in 2021. Currently, I am pursuing a Practice-based PhD under a fully funded Warwick Chancellor's Scholarship.
Current research
My project speaks to the growing interest in thanatology in China, a subject that is still considered a cultural taboo. Using ethical film theory and documentary practices, my research focuses on the invisible dying patient and examine their dying experiences as shareable human vulnerabilities.
