Congratulations to Warwick Cup for being shortlisted for a Union Award!
Warwick Cup, founded by three final-year GSD students - Maddie Booth, Ellie Church, and Hollie Ryan - has been nominated for the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability’ category of the Students’ Union’s Student Voice and Impact Awards.
The Student Voice and Impact Awards aim to recognise and celebrate students who advocate and create change for the student experience and the Warwick community.
Warwick Cup is a student-led social enterprise which aims to reduce the waste produced by single-use cups through a reusable cup-sharing system on campus. The project was launched at Curiositea on campus in February 2020. You can look back on the launch in our article here.
Since February, they’ve had a wide impact across campus and their work has been supported by funding from Warwick Enterprise and the Lord Rootes Memorial Fund.
The Student Voice and Impact Awards will be streamed on the Warwick SU Facebook page from 5pm on Wednesday 3 June 2020.
We wish Maddie, Ellie, Hollie, and the rest of the Warwick Cup team the very best of luck for the awards!
