UN SDG Graphic

Welcome to the Early Career Researcher Network for SDGs

A newly established initiative that centers around four environment-related Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG7 Affordable & Clean Energy

SDG 9 Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure

SDG 11 Sustainable Cities & Communities

SDG 13 Climate Action

Aim of the Network

This initiative aims at creating a network of ECRs (including, but not limited to, social sciences). The objectives of this initiative include:

1) Facilitating new research ideas and interdisciplinary work among ECRs working on similar topics
2) Supporting the development of new skills and clear pathways for ECRs to maximize the impact of their research
3) Creating linkages with more senior colleagues (both within and outside the University) as well as non-academic stakeholders.

Get involved!

COP26

We will hold a kick-off event of the Network on Wednesday, September 22nd in the afternoon (2.30pm-4.30pm) in WBS room 0.013. As part of the kick-off event, there will be two lightning sessions (10-minute presentations, 5-minute general discussion) for ECRs to provide a brief outline of their research (it can be of a specific project or of a line of research. This will help us know each other better).

We have an open invitation for any ECRs at Warwick to get involved. To help shape our plans and indicate how you would like to engage with the network, please complete this form by September 12th, 11.59pm UK time.
