We’re hosting the Screening Rights Film Festival at Warwick Arts Centre again this year and it runs Thursday 26th – Sunday 29th October!

The opening title is Casa Susanna + (Q&A)Link opens in a new window screening Thursday 26th October at 7.30pm. Before Paris is Burning, there was Casa Susanna; in this visually arresting, deeply felt documentary portrait of post-War, pre-Liberation American queer life, a group of transgender women and cross-dressing men find refuge and a sense of belonging at Casa Susanna, a bungalow hidden in the woods of Catskills. The screening is followed by a Q&A with speakers.
