Warwick Pride student buddy scheme open for 2025/26

Warwick Pride says:

"We are proud to announce that the Pride Parenting Scheme is now open for this academic year!

The scheme is designed to help students settle into university life by having a student (known as a “Parent”) act as a mentor to another student (known as a “Child”) and be their main point of contact within Pride.

To be a Child, you must be in your first year at Warwick University - this can be as an undergraduate student, or as a postgraduate student if you did your undergraduate at a university other than Warwick. The only exception to this rule is if you are transferring from a different university.

Parents should have some prior experience of life at Warwick University, so you must be in your second year or above or have completed your undergraduate degree at Warwick if you are a first-year postgraduate student.

🐤 If you want to be a child, fill in the Child Sign-Up form.

🐔 If you want to be a parent, fill in the Parent Sign-Up form.

❓ More details about what the scheme is and how it works can be found in our Parenting Scheme FAQs.

⚠️ Deadline: To be allocated a Parent/Child, you must have filled in one of the forms by 12:00 (midday) on Thursday, 18th September.

We will aim to allocate parents to children by Thursday, 25th September, so you have time to get in touch and hopefully meet up before coming to our Welcome Week events."
