WIHEA is thrilled to support the Monash Warwick Alliance, and has been one of the key connection points between the two institutions since its inception. The Monash Warwick Alliance is committed to supporting our researchers, educators and students at every level of their collaboration. As part of a broader strategic refresh, the Alliance has introduced new funding mechanisms.
The new funding opportunities provide an articulated pipeline through the Research Activation and Education Activation Fund, leading to large-scale Major Research Initiatives and Strategic Education Initiatives that have the ability to deliver significant impact and external funding. The Professional Services Collaboration Fund is a new scheme to support joint initiatives across the professional service areas of Monash and Warwick.
Hosted by IATL and funded by WIHEA, International Visiting Teaching Fellows Sean Michael Morris and Dr Jesse Stommel from USA delivered a series of events throughout late October and early November 2017 to share their expertise in hybrid, online and critical digital pedagogy, to inspire educational approaches based on pedagogies, policies and critical practices that support agency, creativity and inquiry.
