WIHEA are pleased to announce that four projects with great potential have been awarded funding so far this academic year.
We will still consider project proposals for projects where funding can be spent prior to 31July 2020. Please visit our Project web pages for more information.
Film & Television Studies Academics Visit Monash
Professor Alastair Phillips and Dr Helen Wheatley (Film and Television Studies), visited Monash University from 24 November to 8 December 2019, hosted by Associate Professor Constantine Verevis, Head of Film and Screen Studies in the School of Media, Film and Journalism, Monash University.
Successful Project on Interdisciplinarity During Welcome Week
The project group have embedded interdisciplinary opportunities for students during Welcome Week 2019, enabling them to gain interdisciplinary learning experience from an early stage.

National recognition for Prof Jo Angouri
Congratulations to WIHEA Fellow, Professor Jo Angouri (Centre for Applied Linguistics), who has been awarded a National Teaching Fellowship by Advance HE for the highest standards of teaching at the University.

A WIHEA Fellowship recognises and rewards outstanding achievements in learning and teaching and is an exceptional opportunity to engage with colleagues across the university, improve the student experience and make a genuine difference to Warwick through research, debate and policy formation.
Selected by the WIHEA Advisory Group during a competitive annual selection process consisting of application and nomination in July 2019, the 33 new staff and student Fellows will join WIHEA’s collaborative community at a welcome lunch on 19 September 2019.
