In this Masterclass on Wellbeing Pedagogies and Strategies, Elena shared her understanding and ideas about how to foster positive Wellbeing in the Teaching and Learning environment for both students and staff.

Congratulations to WIHEA Fellow, Professor Jo Angouri (Centre for Applied Linguistics), who has been awarded a National Teaching Fellowship by Advance HE for the highest standards of teaching at the University.

A WIHEA Fellowship recognises and rewards outstanding achievements in learning and teaching and is an exceptional opportunity to engage with colleagues across the university, improve the student experience and make a genuine difference to Warwick through research, debate and policy formation.

Selected by the WIHEA Advisory Group during a competitive annual selection process consisting of application and nomination in July 2019, the 33 new staff and student Fellows will join WIHEA’s collaborative community at a welcome lunch on 19 September 2019.

On 3 June 2019, WIHEA and the Centre of Applied Linguistics jointly hosted the Inaugural Lecture of Professor Jo Angouri to celebrate her recent appointment as Professor (Research & Teaching).

The new Learning and Teaching Building at Monash University supports the learning of over 55000 students annually across all faculties. From its inception, the building has been designed to promote active learning and collaborative learning at scale while supporting the informal learning needs of students. Key design features, student input to design, staff and student feedback, and impact analysis will be presented. Please note lunch will be available.
