Welcome to the AI Toolkit

This toolkit is designed for the Arts and Social Sciences Faculties where curated and advanced AI-related pedagogical practices specific to these faculties have been included. Made possible by the Education fund and developed in partnership with staff and students and supported by the Digital Learning team the toolkit provides accessible resources on teaching and learning, assessments, and student guidance, enhancing students’ AI literacy and employability skills. Critically viewed through an Arts and Social Sciences lens, it explores both the challenges and opportunities of generative AI, equipping students and staff to engage with it judiciously. Specifically, the webpages are designed to help you explore relevant topics and issues related to using AI in university. For students, you may find rules about using AI from your department in the AI Academic Integrity Policies Section below, but if not or you are not clear on these, you are strongly advised to refer to your module director or assessment-setter.
