AIMS and OBJECTIVES
Building on the recent upsurge of interesting in the social dimensions and dynamics of sleep in a changing world, this new Economic and Social Research Council funded seminar series aims to:
Promote dialogue, debate and the sharing of expertise on the social world of sleep;
Encourage sociologists and social scientists to reflect on sleep as a new way of approaching/accessing social processes and social relations;
Establish new research collaborations, within and beyond the social sciences, as a basis for future studies and policy making on sleep and society
The series caters to an interdisciplinary audience. Participation is encouraged from all interested parties, including professionals, practitioners and policy makers.
