GCRF Fellowships
For the development and strengthening of research links with developing countries, with the aim of building long-term collaborations leading to UKRI GCRF proposals. Rolling Deadline

Fernandes Fellowships
For the development of long-term research collaborations in Europe by hosting tenure-track or early career academics from European institutions at Warwick.  Visits can be for three months in total, which can be used flexibly to support several visits. Rolling Deadline

IAS Awards
The IAS awards offer Warwick academics the opportunity to develop new research areas and research-related outputs. Any activity which advances the mission of IAS can be undertaken with the IAS awards and it is intended that academics can use this resource to undertake more speculative activities that may not be funded from other sources.  Rolling Deadline

International Visiting Fellowships
This programme offers an opportunity for Warwick academics to host external visitors for periods normally two weeks to three months.  International Visiting Fellows will enrich the research of the University and take part in a programme of events and activities that will reach across departments and faculties.  Fellowships include travel, accommodation, a budget to support a programme of events and a per-diem allowance.  Next Deadline 4/2/20
 

News

Following the call for applications in term 1, six new International Visiting fellowships have been awarded for visits during the next year. The next call for applications will close on 4/2/20.

IAS WIRL-COFUND fellow Dr Joe Sanzo has been awarded an ERC Starting Grant for his project “Early Jewish and Christian Magical Traditions in Comparison and Contact”

The new IAS seminar room in the Zeeman building is near completion and will be available to book from early February.

An new issue of Exchanges: The Interdisciplinary Research Journal has been published and there is currently an open call for papers inviting research articles or critical reflections addressing falsehoods, misinterpretations and factual divergences (Deadline 1 May 2020)

IAS Salon - Exploring Gardens as living sites for learning and wellbeing: Campus, Canley, Coventry and beyond

This event seeks to bring together researchers, practitioners, and other community partners to discuss the possibilities involved in co-creating gardens on campus, Canley and across Coventry. Drawing on recent pilot research into the 'Story Garden', this event aims to create a network for those interested in gardens as learning spaces, as living classrooms and as sites for community placemaking. We aim to investigate the ways gardens can be imaginatively and playfully designed as sites of beauty, wonder and wellbeing.
 

The Present and Future of History and Games
