ACF Ben Perry awarded prestigious Royal College of Psychiatrists Research Prize

Ben Perry devised the award winning project which was a cohort study using data from a large dataset called ALSPAC, to look at associations between psychosis risk, dysglycaemia and inflammation.
He also performed the data analysis and designed and gave the final presentation. Ben says "I couldn't have done it alone, and I'm really grateful for the supervision I received from the senior academics on the project. It means a great deal to me. " He added: "And the hard work and sleep deprivation was worth it!."
This is the the second time that Ben has won the prize in two years, which will be a great addition to his CV. He feels that it will give him an advantage with the important Phd Fellowship applications which he will be making shortly.
