A transcript is an official summary of academic performance, including qualification obtained, examination results, and awards achieved. It also details your study dates, programme of study, and degree conferred. The transcript is a legal University document and therefore cannot be altered.
Graduated 2+ years ago?
Regulations do not require the us to keep individual examination records for any longer than 2 years post graduation. Whilst the MBChB Examinations Office will make every effort to obtain past marks and produce a transcript, this can understandably take some time and unfortunately we cannot always guarantee availability of all information pertaining to your course of study. Please be aware that requests for such transcripts can take up to 8 weeks to fulfil.
How much will a transcript cost?
Two copies of your transcript will be provided covering each phase of the MBChB curriculum (Phase 1 & 2 up until September 2013 entry. Phase 1, 2 & 3 for September 2013 entry until present). The initial 2 copies can be ordered at a cost of £20, with each copy thereafter costing an additional £5 (i.e £25 for 3 copies, £30 for 4 copies, etc). Please note there is a minimum order of 2 copies.

DHL - £20 (Please note this fee covers one address only)
Transcripts sent by standard airmail to overseas addresses are usually sent by Deutsche Post and can take between 2-8 weeks to arrive depending on the destination. Please note that this service is NOT trackable and if you require a trackable service, you should select the DHL courier option.
Can I request an electronic transcript?
Yes. Electronic versions are PDF copies of your signed and stamped transcripts. Upon request we can send electronic copies to your email address once the hard copies have been posted or collected.
ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates)
Electronic signed and stamped copies of your transcript can be uploaded to the ECFMG web portal once hard copies have been produced. Please ensure you request this clearly on the order form.
Can my transcripts be sent to multiple addresses?
Yes. Transcripts can be sent to multiple addresses. Please ensure you complete the relevant sections of the order form accurately.
Can my transcripts be sealed individually?
Yes, it is possible to seal and stamp your transcripts individually. Please ensure this is requested clearly on the order form.
Can I collect my transcripts?
Yes, once you have received confirmation that your transcript is ready for collection, you can collect transcripts from the Medical School Reception
**Due to the Covid pandemic, it is not currently possible to collect your transcripts if you are not a WMS student**
How long will my order take?
We aim to post transcripts within two weeks of an order being placed. Please note this may take longer during busy periods in February, June, and September and in the run up to these periods. Transcript requests for those students who graduated prior to 2010 may take significantly longer to process.
Students can order replacement degree certificates or authorised copies of certificates via the Awards and Ceremonies web pages.
