Ink Chromatography

The ink chromatography experiment will allow students to analyse the different dyes that are present in a selection of inks. By using a variety of different solvents, for example water and rubbing alcohol, students will also investigate the solubility of these dyes in the different solvents. This experiment would works well with the Candy Chromatography experiment that can also be found on the website.
