Welcome to the Oculus

The Oculus is our newest teaching building. It’s a light and airy space with two lecture theatres, one seating 250 and the other 500.

Study spaces

In addition, there are also a number of seminar rooms. The layout of the smaller teaching rooms can be changed depending on the needs of staff and students.

If you want to study as a small group, there are tables and sofas on the first floor, equipped with plenty of plug sockets for charging devices. There are also individual study spaces. These include comfy armchairs with high sides, so you can stay focussed on your work.

Take a break

The Oculus café is on the ground floor, so you can take a break from your study and meet friends.

As well as hot and cold drinks, they also sell a variety of delicious waffles.
