24.08.15 - Mick's Rotational TBC Paper Accepted!
Dr Staniforth's paper on the rotational dynamics of 4-tert-butylcatechol - 'Probing rotational motion in 4-tert-butylcatechol through H-atom photofragmentation: Deviations from axial recoil', has been accepted by the Journal of Physical Chemistry A. A fantastic effort, well done!!
15.05.15 - Mitch's TBC paper accepted
Mitch's paper entitled ‘Bridging the gap between the gas and solution phase: Solvent specific photochemistry of tert-butyl-catechol', has been accepted in JPCA. Well done Mitch and everyone else who contributed-a truly joint Team Stavros effort which includes the solution-phase team (Mitch, Lewis, Vic and Ed) as well as the gas-phase team (Jamie and Mick).
15.05.15 - Vas co-authors a synthesis paper?
Indeed I am proud to say that I have been involved in a synthesis project, thereby going back to my very own UG roots where I carried out a sythesis project with Dr Adrian Parkins. Many moons later and I am back to synthesis, courtesy of Prof Rachel O'Reilly and her group. Thank you Team O'Reilly for the experience. Fear not Team Stavros, I am still 100% a Physical Chemist.
07.05.15 - Jamie and Mick's Catechol paper
Jamie and Mick's paper entitled "Observing Torsional Motion following the Absorption of Ultraviolet Light" has been accepted for publication in Physical Review Letters. Well done gentlemen. With a paper in a physics journal, we have officially jumped to the dark side (in a good way mind you)!
