15.05.15 - Vas co-authors a synthesis paper?
Indeed I am proud to say that I have been involved in a synthesis project, thereby going back to my very own UG roots where I carried out a sythesis project with Dr Adrian Parkins. Many moons later and I am back to synthesis, courtesy of Prof Rachel O'Reilly and her group. Thank you Team O'Reilly for the experience. Fear not Team Stavros, I am still 100% a Physical Chemist.
07.05.15 - Jamie and Mick's Catechol paper
Jamie and Mick's paper entitled "Observing Torsional Motion following the Absorption of Ultraviolet Light" has been accepted for publication in Physical Review Letters. Well done gentlemen. With a paper in a physics journal, we have officially jumped to the dark side (in a good way mind you)!
26.03.15 - Lewis' and Mitch's Oxybenzone Paper
Lewis and Mitch's paper entitled "Probing the Ultrafast Energy Dissipation Mechanism of the Sunscreen Oxybenzone after UVA Irradiation"
has been published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters. Well done to everyone involved!
29.07.14 - New group members
Team Stavros welcomes two new PhD members Natercia and Lewis (jointly with Dr Scott Habershon) and two new MChem members Faye and Baljeet. The group also welcomes back Dr Greenough as an IAS fellow. Welcome All!
