07.02.2013 - Chem. Sci. Publication for Team Stavros

In collaboration with Prof. Mike Ashfold's group (Chemistry, Bristol) and Prof. Martin Paterson (Chemistry, Heriot-Watt), Team Stavros have recently published work on the photodissociation dynamics of a model system, Thioanisole. This work highlights the importance of both purely quantum mechanical phenomena, such as tunnelling, and how dynamics can be controlled with specific vibrational motions in σ* mediated photochemistry. Congratulations all involved!

The work can be found here.
