Laser safety
The new laser safety officer is Dr Jack Woolley, situated in E011a. Dr Woolley can be reached on jack.woolley@warwick.ac.uk. However I list below some information related to my term as laser safety officer.
Please refer to the laser safety document regarding the necessary guidelines of laser-safe practise.
All research groups using lasers in the Chemistry Department at Warwick should read this document and must fill in the necessary parts before commencing work with lasers. A completed copy of this document should be kept in your laboratory for reference. A laser safety DVD forms part of the laser safety training. A copy of this DVD can be obtained from me.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
