AAMAS 2027 - Reciprocal Reviewer Policy

Each submission must designate at least one qualified author who agrees to serve as a reviewer for AAMAS.

• The designated author must meet the qualification criteria defined in the AAMAS Reviewer Guidelines.
  
  

Exceptions

A submission is exempt from this requirement if:

• None of the authors is qualified under the “Reviewer Eligibility section” in the Reviewer Guidelines; or

• All qualified authors are serving as Area Chairs (ACs), Senior Program Committee (SPC), or in other official organizing roles for AAMAS 2027.
  
  

How to Satisfy the Requirement

During abstract submission, authors must:

• Designate an author who will serve as a reviewer; or

• Declare that the submission qualifies for an exemption.

Submissions that fail to satisfy this requirement may be desk-rejected.

How This Requirement Is Enforced

Authors meeting the threshold will be contacted by the organizing committee with further instructions. Authors who believe they qualify for an exemption must complete the designated exemption form.

Enforcement and Sanctions

• AAMAS reserves the right to reject submissions that do not satisfy the reciprocal reviewer policy, including cases where designated reviewers fail to complete their assigned reviews.
