Having graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Physics, I was initially unsure of the direction I wanted to take. Oliver Williams was my personal tutor during my undergraduate degree, and he mentioned the possibility of doing a PhD via the doctoral training programme at the DST. After researching my PhD topic extensively and learning more about the DST programme, I decided that this was an option I’d like to pursue. I am particularly looking forward to the interdisciplinary nature of the course, and I think the two 10 week mini projects are a great opportunity to accrue relevant experience and knowledge.
