ENHANCE Concluding Symposium

The symposium showcased the transformative power of ENHANCE in curriculum development, staff and student experience and marked the commitment to our sustained application in various fields.

ENHANCE Taster Event (UK)

Our second ENHANCE taster event that took place in Coventry UK, 27 February – 8 March 2023, organized by the University of Warwick. The event included a Conference for showcasing humanitarian engineering education and research, titled “Engineering and Science for Deeply Uncertain Times”, project management activities, design and make activities with students, training on sustainable education, educational trips to sustainable communities (e.g. Hockerton housing project) and field trip to the Warwick Crop Centre for sustainable agriculture, horticulture and food security discussions and activities. Almost 40 lecturers from the partner institutions joined the event activities. ENHANCE Training Kit, ENHANCE app and ENHANCE Taxonomy were widely introduced to lecturers. More awareness about innovative pedagogical approaches in humanitarian engineering was raised.
