The 1st International Symposium on Humanitarian Engineering Challenges and Approaches will be hosted by the University of West Attica, Athens in collaboration with the ENHANCE Project.

It will comprise two sessions of talks and discussions on Humanitarian Engineering, the challenges faced by engineers globally, and approaches that offer sustainable solutions. Due to current circumstances the entire event will take place online, and registration is free.

Lately, the ENHANCE team have been analysing the results of the survey that we conducted in 2019. We were pleased to receive over 700 responses including over 200 from representatives of the engineering industry, over 400 from universities and over 100 from quality assurance agencies. The survey garnered responses from all over the world, including strong representation of those countries where we are active - Bangladesh, Vietnam and Indonesia as well as the UK and Greece. All of this will help us to create useful resources to assist engineering educators worldwide!
