UBC 2014-15 Registrations now open

Registrations are now open for the Universities Business Challenge 2014-15, the UK's premier undergraduate simulation-based competition for student employability and enterprise skills development. We don't need to know team member's names just yet - just the number of teams you want to enter.

EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS: PLUS 3 FOR 2 OFFER
 
Registrations are now open and you can take advantage of Early Registration discounts if you register your teams by 30 June, 2014.
 
Plus in addition, if you register before 31 May 2014, we will give you one free team for every 2 teams entered, i.e. 3 teams for the price of 2. You can register the number of teams you want to enter now via the UBC website at:

THE TOP 10 TEAMS IN 2013-14
The UBC Worldwide UK attracted over 1,550 students in 312 teams in Round 1 from over 69 university faculties including: business and management studies, economics, engineering, accounting and finance, law and social sciences in 2013-14.

Run over three rounds, Round 1 commences late October and runs on-line over 6 weeks commencing late October, with weekly decisions submitted via the UBC website. All teams get individual feedback from the UBC team to help improve performance and there is an opportunity for lecturers and employability advisers to be copied in on results and feedback.

The top 100 teams from Round 1 competed in one day regional Round 2 Semi-Finals hosted by UBC’s Employer Partners to reach the Round 3 Grand Final hosted by IBM.

Universities competing in the Round 3 Grand Final were: Canterbury Christ Church, Hull (2 teams), Royal Holloway, Abertay (2 teams), Bangor, Kingston, Bristol and Bournemouth

The final result was:
1st: University of Bristol
2nd: University of Abertay, Dundee Business School
3rd: University of Hull

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
