Warwick Racing

n order for the team to become more competitive and to aid in students personal and professional development, the team is no longer a 4th year academic project. There are however academic projects for researching future designs and technologies, but the design and build of the current car is now completely extra-curricular!
Because of this, anyone, from any year or degree is welcome to join the team and contribute.
As a new team member you will be helping to design and manufacture components for the car and validating through testing.
The earlier in your degree that you join the team, the longer you have to enhance the skills and team working abilities desired by industry.
If you are interested in joining can you join our Facebook group and fill out this survey to let us know which sub-teams you would like to be a part of for the coming year!
The teams are as follows:
Chassis Team
Powertrain Team
Dynamics Team
Composites Team

If you have any ideas as to how you can contribute in a different way (such as graphic design, PR, electronics, etc, etc) please email me at a.haldane@warwick.ac.uk and let me know!

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.

If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.

If you are a parent or guardian there is more information on what to do if you have concerns: warwick.ac.uk/services/wss/parents/#concern.
