Warwick Engineering Society

To do this we will be visiting local schools and colleges to run workshops and events, and attending regional and national science fairs to represent Warwick. Closer to home, outreach is involved in our society conferences and also with open day work and other events on the campus.
The most important part of making outreach a success is the students running it, and we are looking for people who are committed and work well in a team. We won't be expecting every team member to attend each event, so team members would only be asked to help out with a few events each term. The team will have regular meetings on campus to organise things, which will be led by the society outreach officer, Tom.
So what do you get out of being a part of the outreach team? Firstly, you will have the chance to put something amazing on your CV, and also get a chance to meet people in engineering and take part in some fantastic events. On top of that, each team member will be given their own personalised polo shirt, and the opportunity to attend the society conferences for free.
Sorry for all the info at once, but if this is something you would like to be a part of please fill out the form below. If you have any questions let Tom know at: t.j.f.wilson@warwick.ac.uk

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.

If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.

If you are a parent or guardian there is more information on what to do if you have concerns: warwick.ac.uk/services/wss/parents/#concern.
