Volunteers Wanted to take part in research for a 3rd Year Engineering Project
This research relates to under-foot plantar pressure and looks at how different movements commonly undertaken in sporting activities may affect this. Data collected and analysed will then contribute towards the design and manufacture of a sport’s orthotic insole.
Experiments will take place in the Gait Laboratory, which is situated on the ground floor of the School of Engineering Building. You will be fitted with simple equipment which allows under-foot plantar pressure to be measured during these different movements. Further information about the equipment being used can be found here:https://www.tekscan.com/products-solutions/systems/f-scan-system
Testing should take around 30 minutes to 1 hour and specific dates/times are flexible around your availability.
If you are interested, or would like further information, then please contact Samuel.Ellis@warwick.ac.uk
as soon as possible.
