One World Week

One World Week (OWW) is known as the "World's Largest Student-Run International Event" and is a series of Cultural, Sporting, Academic and Night events held annually at the University of Warwick in January. This nine-day event is the pinnacle of the international experience at Warwick, and sees the campus come alive through a series of debates and discussions, parades and performances, a whole host of sporting activities and events as well as cultural exhibitions and workshops.
One World Week is an entirely student run initiative; and that’s where you come in!
We are currently looking to fill over 200 positions in the various OWW teams.
The team roles range from contacting World-Renowned Speakers to take part in our Forum Talks, to organizing some of the largest Sporting Tournaments on campus or even working backstage in the Butterworth Hall during the OWW Fashion Show and also much much more.
You could even join behind the scenes by getting involved with out Marketing and IT teams as they specialise in spreading the word of OWW through visual footage, software and websites.

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
