First Year of the Undergraduate of the Year Award 2012
We're looking for a winning mix of personal skills, career motivation and an excellent academic record and your university and department has been specially selected by the sponsor as an excellent source of talented undergraduates (only a small number of universities are being targeted in this way).
We would like your help to find outstanding undergraduates by encouraging your students to enter the competition. To enter, the students need to complete an online assessment designed exclusively by our partners SHL, Europe’s leading test provider. If they pass that stage, they will undertake further selection tests set by Ernst & Young. The final shortlist of ten for each competition will be invited to the Undergraduate of the Year Awards in Canary Wharf London on 13 April 2012 where the winner will be announced by The Rt Hon Michael Portillo. The winning student will be rewarded with a summer internship with Ernst & Young, including a place at their International Leadership Conference in Florida. The publicity and promotional benefits for your department will be great as we will make sure that the winner and runners-up and the universities/departments that they come from feature in any press coverage. But above all, we will use the opportunity to raise the profile and highlight the high standards of education in UK universities. Students can enter via this url: http://undergraduateoftheyear.com/

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.
