The key to our success is building relationships based on trust and understanding. To develop these relationships requires particular qualities and abilities, and we invest in people who have them. That’s why we developed our graduate programme – to nurture the next generation of private bankers. An unparalleled amount of real client exposure. Support to study towards the CFA qualification. Gaining valuable hands-on skills doing fascinating work right from the start. And three rotations across our global business.

For all of these reasons and more, this programme offers graduates the best possible introduction to life as a Private Banker with Barclays Wealth.

As a global business, we offer graduate opportunities across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Wherever you join us, you’ll need to have a passion for wealth management and be ready to take the first step into this challenging, exciting and uniquely fulfilling career.

We welcome applications from students and graduates from all degree disciplines, and from international students. To apply, you’ll need a minimum of 300 UCAS points* (or equivalent) and be on track for, or have obtained, a 2:1 in your first degree.

* UCAS tariff achieved from top three A’Levels or equivalent, excluding General Studies, completed in the same academic year.

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.

If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.
