Student Hub ( ESO )
The Postgraduate Association - newly established
‘ The PGA will meet regularly (the number of meetings will be decided amongst the PGA) to discuss academic and non-academic issues that aren’t always picked up either by SSLC or through Union democracy e.g. accommodation, teaching issues, car parking etc. These issues will be fed through to the Union through Student Council and All Student Meetings and to the University as well.
We are holding the first meeting on the 25th October in The Mighty Duck (SU) from 5.30-6.45pm. We will be discussing the plans for the year, deciding on priority issues and appointing the PGR Rep and the Social Secretary. This is a really great opportunity for postgrads to get involved in the Union and in the wider debate in HE about postgraduate engagement. The postgraduate community is incredibly diverse and we want as many postgrads to be involved so that we can be representative and inclusive of these varying needs and interests.

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.
