Graduate Civil Design Engineers, Sutton Coldfield

Salary – Negotiable payable monthly in arrears. (assuming minimum 2.1 achieved for MEng)

 

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following types of work:

  • Carrying out pre-construction studies focusing on the concept design of temporary works, working alongside our Clients in developing construction strategies and sequences.
  • Implementation of pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects as required by our Clients.
  • Design / Checking of Temporary Works scheme to facilitate construction of Building and Civil Engineering Projects
  • Value Engineering of our Clients schemes for build ability.
  • Reviewing and acceptance of subcontractors Method Statements for temporary works.
  • On site support to our Clients construction team.
  • Keeping abreast of new techniques and Technical advances.
  • Seek out and resolve design and construction interface issues before they become issues.

 

 

 

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Good verbal and written English, presentable with good time keeping
  • Able to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Negotiation skills
  • Professional integrity with wish to continue the development of their own skills.
  • Computer Literate in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Analysis packages would be advantageous but full training will be given.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own time and work to program deadlines.
