NERC CDT in Oil & Gas PhD Opportunities: University of Dundee

The studentship will focus on one of the two following themes:
 
1) Predicting and mitigating the impact of iceberg impact and scour on buried product transport links
 
2) Assessing the impact and mitigation of earthquake hazards on O&G production infrastructure
 
The successful candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geography or other Earth Sciences Background. Candidates must have a minimum 2.1 degree or higher, you are a UK citizen and you have always lived in the UK you are eligible to apply. If you have a 2.2 degree, but have also obtained a masters qualification, you are also eligible. Because of NERC restrictions, the full studentships will be available only to UK residents.
