NERC CDT in Oil & Gas PhD Opportunities: University of Dundee

The studentship will focus on one of the two following themes:
 
1) Predicting and mitigating the impact of iceberg impact and scour on buried product transport links
 
2) Assessing the impact and mitigation of earthquake hazards on O&G production infrastructure
 
The successful candidate will have a background in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geography or other Earth Sciences Background. Candidates must have a minimum 2.1 degree or higher, you are a UK citizen and you have always lived in the UK you are eligible to apply. If you have a 2.2 degree, but have also obtained a masters qualification, you are also eligible. Because of NERC restrictions, the full studentships will be available only to UK residents. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
