Graduate Engineer, Mechanical Design Team, Multi Automation

General Terms : 39 hours per week

 

COMPANY:

Multi Automation is a leading provider of bespoke automation solutions for a wide range of blue chip clients across a range of different industries.

 

BACKGROUND:

Must have a mechanical or controls engineering background, good problem solving skills, familiar with a 3D CAD package preferably SolidWorks. Comfortable working within a small team, working at all levels within the business with customers and suppliers.

 

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Working within the Mechanical Design team, you will work with the technical team to develop 3D designs to meet customers’ specifications. This will include customer and supplier visits to ensure the customer’s specifications. A key element of this role will be to ensure the designs meet technical, cost and timeline milestones.

 

Projects range in value from £20k to £1m+. The candidates will see all aspects of the business from customer specification, through design, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning.
