BE PAID FOR TAKING PART IN PSYCHOLOGY EXPERIMENTS

BE PAID FOR TAKING PART IN PSYCHOLOGY EXPERIMENTS

Here is your chance to contribute to scientific research while also earning money for the time you invest.

Sign up for paid experiments is done via a system called SONA. You can access this by following the link http://warwickpsychology.sona-systems.com/

Once in this webpage, you can request an account. This will allow you to see all the experiments available, their details (including duration and payment) and the available timeslots.

Plus, to receive notification of new experiments you can also subscribe to the psych-experiments mailing list at http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/psych/contact/experiments .

In brief, SONA provides an easy method for you to sign up for experiments; you may cancel your sign-up through the system as well. The system is accessible at any time, from any computer and only the experimenter and principal investigator of the experiment may see that you have signed up for it, along with the subject pool administrator.

Further information about SONA and Psychology experiments is included in the attached file and is also available from the departmental website http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/psych .

Thank you very much for your time and cooperation.

With thanks and good wishes,

Emergency and Support Links

For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.

If you're struggling but it's not an emergency, please contact Wellbeing.

If you are a parent or guardian there is more information on what to do if you have concerns: warwick.ac.uk/services/wss/parents/#concern.
