IATL Student Funding opportunities deadline Wednesday 15th March
STUDENT FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES with the Institute for Advanced Teaching & Learning (IATL) Spring Term 2017
Have you thought about getting involved with Warwick’s Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL)? We’re looking for students who have innovative projects they want to explore through Research, Collaborationor Performance. So why not enhance your teaching and learning experience and apply for funding before it’s too late? The next application deadline is midnight on Wednesday of week 10 (15th March 2017).
Student as Producer (Research) grants
IATL's Student as Producer (Research) funding is available to undergraduate students and taught Masters students only. You may apply for up to £1000 for your project, although we welcome applications for smaller sums. Funded projects must be for research of your own devising, and work must be unrelated to anything you are required to do as part of a course. Student as Producer (Collaboration) grants
IATL's Student as Producer (Collaboration) funding is available to undergraduate and taught Masters students only. You may apply for up to £2000 for your project, although we welcome applications for smaller sums. The key criteria for this funding stream is that projects must be collaborative and student led. Your project must relate to at least one of IATL's key themes (interdisciplinarity, internationalisation, inclusiveness) and must show evidence of an impact on teaching and learning at Warwick. Student as Producer (Performance) grants
IATL's Student as Producer (Performance) funding is available to both postgraduate (PGR and PGT) and undergraduate students. You may apply for up to £500 for your performance project which must include any technical costs associated with the project, e.g. guidance from an approved theatre technician. Performance Festival Bursaries
IATL's Performance Festival Bursaries are available for up to £500. This funding stream is in place to support student performance projects taking place outside The University of Warwick, for example The National Student Drama Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Emergency and Support Links
For emergencies or urgent safety concerns, please contact the University 24-hour Community Safety line: +44 (0)2476 522083. Community Safety operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In the event of an emergency on campus requiring ambulance, police or fire brigade, call 22222 from an internal telephone. If you are on campus and you use a mobile to call for an emergency service (999), you should also then call 024 76 5 22222. This alerts the University Community Safety team and will enable the emergency vehicle to be speedily escorted to where it is required on the campus.
