PhD studentships in Synthetic Biology

Five fully funded 4-year PhD studentships to pursue research in Synthetic Biology at Warwick are now available as part of the recently announced Warwick-Oxford-Bristol Centre for Doctoral Training in Synthetic Biology. The studentships are open to students from both an engineering and a life-sciences background. The first year of the programme will be based in Oxford, and will provide extensive training in biological, engineering and mathematical techniques. BBC Technology Graduate Trainee Scheme 2014

On Friday 31st January the BBC will open applications for its September 2014 intake of Technology Trainees, offering a salary of £20,000 on two-year contracts to work and train in technology teams across the BBC, leading to an MSc in Digital Broadcast Technology.

Study Abroad at the University of Tokyo - AIKOM Exchange

The University of Tokyo is offering a one-year exchange visit for one Warwick undergraduate as part of its AIKOM - Abroad in Komaba - student exchange programme.

The exchange is open to any Warwick undergraduate of any nationality (other than a Japanese national) who is in their 2nd year at the time of applying, or the 3rd year of a 4 year degree course, regardless of department or course

Volunteers Needed For Third Year Project Experiments

As part of my third year project I am looking for volunteers from the School of Engineering to take part in some experiments to measure the pressure exerted by feet during walking. These experiments will take place in the first few weeks of term 2, but specific dates are flexible based on individual’s availability.
