Graduate Opportunity with Atkins for Mechanical Engineers

(Note from Dr Price: This group within Atkins has contacted us because they have a Warwick Graduate (2009) on their team.)

Atkins is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineering based (or other numerate discipline) graduate to join our tunnel ventilation team to help us plan, design and enable tunnelling projects worldwide and ensure that our tunnels and underground structures are safe, comfortable and reliable.

As an engineer in the tunnel ventilation team you will be involved in a range of projects requiring expertise in areas such as:

 

* engineering design for fans and tunnel equipment,
* aerodynamic analysis for trains and tunnel systems,
* fluid mechanics and CFD for ventilation & fire modelling,
* thermodynamics,
* fire safety engineering and risk analysis.

The CIOB open competition for built environment articles

ICE Events

ICE Disciplines of Civil Engineering

Date: Tuesday 16th April

Time: 6pm onwards

This event is aimed at students currently studying Civil Engineering of any form that wants to learn more about the role of an engineer and the possibilities available to you after graduating.

 

Commercial Awareness Seminar
