Outline abstract and aims. This two-day workshop brings together researchers in systems biology, control engineering, and synthetic biology to address model identifiability, calibration, and experimental design. It combines theory, computation, experimental insights, and industrial perspectives and aims to foster discussion and define future research directions for robust modelling of complex biological systems with applications across biotechnology.
