About

The Project

During open days, universities often hand out a pack to prospective students and families. This usually consists of the same generic items such as pens or notepads with the University’s branding on it. The School of Engineering at the University of Warwick would like to offer something more substantial, and the aim of this project is to design a toy construction set that can be handed out at these open days.

This toy must promote the University as well as include an educational aspect with an engineering design principle. It will come in environmentally friendly packaging and include an instruction manual to assist with the assembly. In addition to this, the scope of the project must be extended to think about how this product could be translated to an assembly line in order to have it be mass produced.
