• Member of BSi (Technical Committee B/525 Building and Civil Engineering Structures) nominated UK expert member to CEN/TC 250/WG4 (Structural Eurocodes); Working Group 4 for Fibre Reinforced Polymer Structures (2009-). To be responsible for establishing and co-ordinating policies for the planning, programming, resourcing, preparation and maintenance of British Standards in the area of building and civil engineering structures. To provide the UK input to CEN/TC 250 Eurocodes. To establish and maintain an efficient structure and, for designated subject areas, to delegate responsibilities within such agreed policy as exists and as may be subsequently updated for the preparation and approval of the technical content of the relevant Eurocode standards and for providing UK input to ISO and CEN equivalent committees. To maintain a working interface with B/526 on Geotechnical matters and with other Standards Committees where necessary.
