Biography

Mariangela Caserta received a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (Cum Laude) from the University of Naples “ Federico II” in September 2013.
In 2014, she started her first collaboration in the research field with the Department of Public Health at Policlinico of Naples working with clinicians and doctors, taking care of statistical analysis. As part of the collaboration with he Department of Public Health at Policlinico of Naples, she visited the University of Warwick to study in depht meta-analysis (methods and tools).
She acquire an intense experience in the field of medical devices, studying the Italian Directive and then evaluating pre-market / market / post-market performances to improve the marketing of a small polish enterprice. In this occasion she applied some methods and criteria learnt from Health Technology Assessment to evaluate, choose and qualify medical devices in the field of interventional cardiology and radiology.

Currently she is dedicated in the Regulatory affairs of medical devices for a big Italian enterprise.
