We are pleased to announce that we will be partnering with leading UK and African institutions for our new EPSRC funded project - DITCh Plastic, to explore how digital technology can be better used to tackle plastic pollution problems in Africa. We have two new flagship PhD projects funded by NERC, CENTA CDT. For more information about these PhDs visit the project page:

Dynamics of pollution transport in constructed wetlands: identification and quantification of underlying physical mechanisms of solute and solid (microplastic) transport

Understanding interactions that determine the fate of microplastics in riverbed environments

The application deadline is 10th January 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on the week commencing 3rd February 2020. More information on application process is here.
