DTI SMART Award (£320,000) - developing an optical metrology-based system for the non-contact measurement of automotive flexible tube - in collaboration with The Optical Metrology Centre, London, and Toyoda Gosei Fluid Systems UK Ltd. Patent registered Sept. 2000.

Lecturing in electronics, digital systems, and engineering design. Staff member of Machine Vision Research Group - development of partnerships and facilities in pursuit of Medical Imaging projects in liaison with Walsgrave Hospitals, Coventry, and Guy's Hospital, London.
