Collaborative research projects/submissions in the field of optical metrology. DTI SMART Award (£320,000) - developing an optical metrology-based system for the non-contact measurement of automotive flexible tube - in collaboration with The Optical Metrology Centre, London, and Toyoda Gosei Fluid Systems UK Ltd. Patent registered Sept. 2000.

1991 - 1999: - Senior Lecturer in Electronic Systems - Coventry University

Lecturing in electronics, digital systems, and engineering design. Staff member of Machine Vision Research Group - development of partnerships and facilities in pursuit of Medical Imaging projects in liaison with Walsgrave Hospitals, Coventry, and Guy's Hospital, London. Programme Manager for courses in electronic/computer engineering - responsible for management of programme team, curriculum development, quality approval, and overseas liaison with franchised course in advanced digital systems, Ruppin College, Israel.

Development of collaborative links, and on-site laboratory facilities at Jaguar, Courtaulds, Peugeot, and Dunlop for the design of electronic and microprocessor systems associated with their test/development programmes. Lecturer in Automotive Electronics.

Design/build of electronic system test-rigs to incorporate fault simulation for laboratory investigation.
