Industrial placements and exchange programmes
Industrial experience or overseas study can greatly increase both the relevance and the enjoyment of your undergraduate degree. Warwick offers assistance in finding sponsorship or industrial placements through the Centre for Student Careers and Skills, which has a vast database of potential sponsors and employers.
Placements may take place during the Easter or summer vacations or may involve taking a year out from your studies to gain industrial experience.
The graduate employment market is highly competitive and employers tell us that relevant work experience is often the differentiator between candidates. You will be given every encouragement to gain valuable experience during your studies so you can make the most of your degree.
