Discover the many ways you can engage with the School of Life Sciences and the wider university community. Learn about paid roles, the Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC), BioSoc, the Student Union, and Student Networks. Whether you're looking to build your CV, make friends, or create change, there’s something for you. |

| 11:00-12:00 | Introduction to Intercultural Awareness for PGT Students Hear about the opportunities and challenges that come with working in intercultural teams. This is a great session for those who will be working in class groups and research groups. |

Join us for a packed lunch, plus an informal opportunity to meet some key staff and connect with key areas of Life Sciences. |

| 13:00-14:00 | Scavenger Hunt (with completion prize!) Join us for a fun and welcoming exploration of Gibbet Hill Campus. Discover key facilities, meet staff and fellow Life Sciences students, and pick up insider tips along the way. This relaxed tour and scavenger hunt combo is a great way to get familiar with your surroundings, build connections, and start your year with confidence |

| 14:00-15:00 | Student Conduct - Looking out for yourself and your friends This session is based around the Warwick Values. It will support you in looking out for yourself and others during your time here, helping to ensure everyone has a safe and positive experience. We will explore what it means to be an Active Bystander and cover key information around Consent and the University’s Report and Support platform. Previous students have rated this session highly. Delivered by the Student Conduct team. |
