You will have the opportunity to find out more about our courses, meet some key members of staff and other prospective students, and take part in taster seminars.
This is a special event with extra content specifically for these courses which will not be available on other open days. However if you are unable to attend, please read about our alternative options which could also give you an idea about what it is like to study with us.
Provisional Agenda
Central Campus
10:00 - 11:00 Take a tour of our central campus and see our Library, new Sports Hub and other key buildings. The tour will start from central campus and finish at the School of Life Sciences Reception.
School of Life Sciences
11:00 – 11:30 Registration. Get to know staff and other offer holders over a welcome coffee.
11:30 - 12:15 Find out more about our courses with an introductory talk from our Course Director Professor Rosemary Collier.
12:15 - 12:30 Ask staff any more informal questions.
12:30 - 13:00 Find out what it could be like to be a student at SLS by taking part in a taster sustainability seminar with Rob Lillywhite.
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch will be provided by us.
14:00 - 14:40 Take part in a taster workshop.
14:40 - 15:00 Break.
15:00 - 15:40 Join us for a tour of our department.
15:40 - 16:00 Final questions.
