Places & Spaces
Finding your way
For some people, not knowing what places look like or what to expect from learning spaces can be unsettling. This section is designed to give you a look through the keyhole at some of areas and people you will be seeing when you arrive.
Places
How to read room numbers
Most room numbers will have the following format:
The initial letters tell you what building the room is in (see first graphic on right for Gibbet Hill blocks).
The first number will indicate the floor (0 = ground floor, 1 = 1st floor etc.).
Finally, the number after the full stop is the number of the room. Rooms in a corridor will generally advance in sequence (see second graphic on right).
